Hello Oppo. So, I work at a small family owned Italian Restaurant in St. Louis, MO. This is a place that you will not find unless you know it is there. Last Weekend, a nice little Lamborghini decided to pop in for lunch. Of course, I had to go out and take some pictures of it because it parked right next to me!
After taking the photos, I realized this car looked somewhat familiar... Oh that's right. It is the same one I saw 6 months earlier at Cars and Coffee! After talking the man's ear off about cars and then bringing out his food, I showed him a picture that I had taken about 6 months earlier.
I was like a kid in a candy store that day, mainly because you don't see a Lamborghini everyday and you especially don't get the chance to talk cars with the owner.

Yah, I had to ask him what it meant and then it all made sense once he said he and his wife invented Furminator. They reported sold the major stake in the company for 50 million in 2007 while retaining a minority stake in the company.

Interestingly, the Furminator company, in addition to making pet grooming tools, also likes to file intellectual property lawsuits . Not that I knew this ahead of time, I just googled them now.

Hmm. Very Interesting. Im curious if this is the original inventors filing the lawsuits, or the investment group that bought out the company. I wonder how much the Porter Family really do anymore after selling in 2007. Cool information. Thanks AtlasM
